The greart Lee Hazlewood

                                              Song: Dirtnap Stories, source:Utube

A deep dark voice with truth and liberty inside. One of the few who could make you close your eyes
and roam your world until the syllables stop flowing like a fountain. Those words had meanings. Meanings that would live through ages and keep planting seeds of sanity and great joy into the hearts of those who would really like to entertain themselves.

Philosophy is a cliche compared to the simple sounding words of his songs. A man born in south of the harsh land called America, at the beginning of the great depression, proved to be the essential proponent to the sound called Cowboy Psychedelia.

He is not one of the those all time top charting super sensations, neither is he the most eloquent of artist. Just another singer with adequate repute to have collaboration with big names and make a mark in the music history alongside the luminous stars of the show.

Whatever or whoever he was in his own time, for me, he will always be one of the top forties.
