Silver Satisfaction
I feel bold,
And a little
cold,
After the
last spasm.
Unlike any
other day,
I feel
liberated,
Venerated in
my own dismay.
Slight change
in expressions
Sliced
between seconds
Of perversion
and unintended self-assay.
As the sun
moves behind my back
Night’s
conclusion is thrown in the basket
Casketing
with it, a fare share of guilt
Like any
other day.
But today is
different
A senseless
euphoric void
Flying over
my head
like a
momentary hallo
Briefly
formed as a sign of forced happiness
Or maybe it’s
all just an afterglow
Of a
brilliant director’s impervious prowess
This exact
feeling
This exact
expression
Is what I
call silver satisfaction.......
